Cole stared at her all evening, and needed Graham to tip him out of his chair. Now he’s figuring out how to approach her.

Will he get the girl, or will he crash and burn? Find out!

So, I’ve completed 43 orbits of the Sun. Happy Birthday to me as of yesterday.

And it’s not a day I like to celebrate, and I don’t ask for much by way of gifts, though I got a pretty good haul this year, and my sister sending me another Nicholas Cage gif – love that one.

That dislike goes with the territory of life going wrong on multiple fronts, which you can read about in my blog posts. Long story short, it’s the day I was spat out into the world with my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck, and led me to all that followed.

Is it bleak and depressing? You bet. But all that followed turned out to be finding God in 2016, and that darling partner and 100% support of mine during the golden crowned lurgy – aka Covid, so there’s a win out of it.

I guess if there’s a birthday wish, it’s being normal, no need for meds to balance out chemicals and stop moods skyrocketing into mania or dropping into depression or psychosis, a healthy brain, the abuse not digging its claws in again, and no addictive coping mechanisms.

I’ll have to settle with the meds – going to ask my psych about Ritalin to see if I can edge out the distractions and up motivation, hopefully to springboard into exercise and more Church attendance, but sadly no weekday mass at 7pm when I could really do with one.

Still, I have life, and in the birthday spirit I’m going to wish you all a happy and productive day, peace and goodwill, and we’ll see just how much time I’m going to sink into Baldur’s Gate 3 – reason for all those Steam vouchers.

Stay safe and secure, and if you’re like me and not okay, seek the help you deserve, and don’t give up on the therapy or the meds – it can be a very long process, with lots of stumbles and getting waylaid, but you’re worth it.

Peace out!
T. M.
